Artist Talk: Ryan Woodring

Join us for a talk by one of the artists in our current exhibition, Iconoclastic.

Ryan Woodring is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania and currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon. He is an interdisciplinary artist with years of experience working in the visual effects industry. Woodring is founding director of Prequel Artist Incubator and series programmer for FutureForum at the Hollywood Theatre in Portland.

The talk will be followed by a reception at the Cooley Gallery where we will celebrate the grand opening of artist Demian DinéYazhi's Radical Indigenous Queer Feminism Pop-up shop!

Iconoclastic includes works by Morehshin Allahyari, Demian DinéYazhi´, Maya Lin, Goshka Macuga, Michael Rakowitz, and Ryan Woodring.

Curators: Stephanie Snyder, John and Anne Hauberg Curator and Director, Douglas F. Cooley Memorial Art Gallery, and William J. Diebold, Jane Neuberger Goodsell Professor of Art History and Humanities, Reed College.
